There comes a time in life when you must reevaluate yourself. I mean really take a look at what has transpired in your life. Take a look at your past, present, and what you foresee in the future. Have you been doing your best? Have you given life everything? Have you been living to the fullest? Be honest and open with yourself when you answer these questions. If your answer is no and I am certain that most of us will say no, it is time to start living. Often we do well. Then there are times when we do great, and we have our moments when we are doing our best. It’s time to stop short-changing yourself. It’s time just to stop saying make the rest of your life the best of your life and really make it your best life. After all, it is your life, and if you don’t live it to the fullest, it is nobody’s fault but yours. I know that is a hard pill to swallow, but if we keep faking it until we make it, we will never make it. By the way, who wants to fake it, that doesn’t even make sense? Life is what you make it. There is still time to live your purpose. Your purpose will not be lived until you live it. So stop making excuses and live it.

There will be naysayers, and people will say what they will say, but if you keep worrying about what people have to say you will never live your purpose. Remember people always have something to say, and just because they have something to say does not mean you have to listen to it or agree with what they are saying. You are your own person and what’s for you is for you. At the end of the day, it is about you when it pertains to you. Nobody knows you like you know yourself. There may be people that tell you they know you, but who knows you better than you. You can be the best at everything you do. It does not matter what it is if you put forth your best effort; you are doing your best. Your best is your best. Stop comparing what you do to others and compare what you do to you. Take baby steps if necessary and get the ball rolling. For example, if you say you are going to be the best teacher you will need to bring your “A” game every day. If you say you are going to eat healthier meals you can’t be eating cookies every day lol. It starts with you and ends with you. You can be your best when you act your best. Being your best requires action. It requires you to make adjustments when needed and not be afraid of failing. Failing actually helps you be your best because you experience not being at your peak.

You and you alone have to walk this journey. There will be challenges that you face, obstacles in the road, and times when you feel like giving up. Remember if you give up you are giving up on yourself. You are a champion and champions don’t quit. Each step that you take brings you closer to living your best life. Living your best life is rewarding. When you live your best life, there is nothing, and I do mean absolutely nothing that will get in your way. Life is no longer a challenge. Life is a blessing, and when you know you are blessed, there is an anointing bestowed upon you. Life brings a new meaning. Life in and of itself is everything that it was meant to be. Your life has meaning and value. Begin living today, loving, honoring, respecting, and protecting your life. You are “THE ESSENCE OF EDUCATION” and living your best life is enjoying life. Live your life today.
