The Recreation Center-North held a glow in the dark pool party. It was held in the Student Aquatic Center from 9 -11 p.m. on March 26 and was free to students.

In order to make the pool glow, many different colored glow sticks were scattered throughout different areas of the pool and the lights were turned off. Each person going into the pool was also given a glow necklace to put around their neck.

Lifeguards were walking around with flashlights in order to protect the safety of each participant and to enforce the special rules.

Due to the darkness, the rope swing and the zip line were both closed, but the hot tub remained open. Only one of the main pools were open in order to better ensure the safety of the many swimmers.

Some people were playing water volleyball, some were playing marco polo and others were just relaxing and spending time with friends.
