Student Government Association met on Monday. The Student Issues Chair Committee Chair discussed another upcoming forum her committee is working on to bring in more feedback on how students feel SGA and the university are doing. Patrick Vining brought up the issue before the group since the chair was gone. Their new forum will be pictures with Santa and will be "Naughty or Nice List" themed. They are planning for the forum to held on Nov. 28 but that could change.

SGA also voted on two Discretionary funding requests, one for Pi Kappa Alpha and the other for the Construction Management Organization. Both were approved, totaling $1,730.64. SGA also heard a request from the Nepalese Student Association for $1,000.00, which SGA approved.

A member from the athletic department, Nate Saverino, spoke and discussed how they are encouraging students to attend the upcoming basketball games. At the game on Monday Nov. 12 there will be a wing eating contest between Hall Directors/ Resident Assistants and Residents. They will also hand out at sunglasses at upcoming games. Saverino also said they will have many more giveaways throughout the season, such as Blu-Ray players and Nintendos.
