This Wednesday, you what it is... The Big Idea returns to Port Cape for their bi-weekly brawl of grungegrass, modern folk shenanigans from 9 pm to 1 am. There's no cover, so come enjoy a great, fun-filled night with amazing musicians and amazing people who are worth so much more than you're paying for!

If you love Jesus, then head to Pitter's Cafe and Lounge this Thursday night from 8 to 1 for The Beast in the East Tour! This show stars bands Hope for the Dying and Ark of the Covenant. Hope for the Dying is Christian Progressive Shred Metal band out of Jonesboro, IL and Ark of the Covenant is a Hardcore Christian Rock band out of Connecticut. So go rise up with rock or whatever Christians do at metal shows. Sorry... I'm an Atheist kind of gal. Praise Jesus you Christian metal heads!

And, finally, this Friday you have a plethra of musicians to check out down at Pitter's Cafe and Lounge from 8 to 1. Joseph Matthew Parent of Cape Girardeau will open the show with his folk, blues tunes. Then appears The Big Idea with their folk, Americana tunes. And you know you don't want to miss the funk, jam, psychedelic sounds of Monstars from ol' Capey. And the show will close with returning artist Not a Planet, Kansas City's folk rock, rock and roll band. It's going to be an amazing night that you don't want to miss! Folk yeah!

And just a side note for all of those that actually listen to Local Hulahae from 6 to 7 pm on Wednesday nights... Josh Lynn, the rhyme master rapper and vocalist in Monstars, will be on the show this week, and you'll get to hear some of his tunes. It's gonna be a good time! Don't miss it!
