There are two sides to my tattoo. The hummingbird reminds me of my great grandparent's house when I would go visit them with my mother, nanny and papa. Every summer morning when I woke up at their house, there would be a bunch of colorful hummingbirds outside the kitchen window. It is one of the few memories I have of my great grandparents, and it is something I never want to forget. The sunflower represents my mother and nanny, and how beautiful they are to me since sunflowers are my favorite flower. I decided to put both of them together so everytime I look at it, I will always think about how much my family means to me and I will never lose the memories I have of them.
