Members of Chi Alpha Campus Ministry stood outside Academic Hall at Southeast Missouri State University on Tuesday, Nov. 1, sharing the message of an outreached named “God is…”

Junior Jake Rankin found out about this outreach while on a mission in Atlanta.

“We are doing an outreach, it’s called ‘God is…,’” Rankin said. “We learned about this outreach when we went on our mission trip last year over the summer. Basically all it is — as you can see we have some signs we say God is and then each person has made their own sign that says what God is to them.”

Rankin thought Southeast would be a good place to share the message.

“When we did it the first time we were standing on the side of the street,” Rankin said. “So we just decided it would be cool to bring it back here to SEMO and recreate that almost with our student body rather than random people.”

Junior Taylor Burns said she is a part of the outreach, “just to get God’s word out on campus.”

Chi Alpha is holding worship tonight in the University Center Program Lounge at 7 p.m.
