Immigration has been one of the most talked about subjects throughout the country. Naushaba Bano, an international student from India, said she will be affected by the decision of the new president of the United States of America.

Bano said she thinks the elections are important, however, the statements she’s heard from the candidates are scary.

“Everyone is really tense because of it. It is gonna affect us one way or the other,” Bano said.

Since Bano’s arrival in America, she came to find her career. With Donald Trump as a presidential candidate in the 2016 presidential election, Bano feels Trump hasn’t showed much support in regard to international students and international immigrants.

“We are openly telling everyone and giving big statements,” Bano said.
