Applications are now being accepted for the All University Judicial Board (AUJB). The role of the board members is to hear the cases of students who have allegedly violated the Code of Student Conduct if sanctions are necessary.

The Office of Student Conduct (OSC) is currently looking for students to obtain roles for the 2017-2018 academic year for AUJB.

According to the OSC website, "We are specifically looking for applicants who are educationally oriented, honest, and fair-minded."

The mission of the OSC is to promote concepts of fairness and due process in a judicial setting through the university community, while striking balance between community standards and individual behavior through the educational development of students.

According to the OSC positional description, to qualify for a position one must be at least a second semester full-time student at Southeast Missouri State University, be in good disciplinary standing and maintain a 2.75 grade point average.

Applications can be found on the OSC website under the tab labeled "Judicial Board."

Each applicant is asked to, job description and follow all the application procedures. The OSC staff said referrals from faculty, staff and administration are appreciated.

Applications for the AUJB will be accepted until 5 p.m. on April 28. The interviews will be held on May 3, 4 and, if needed, 5.

Being that AUJB is an affiliated branch of Student Government, members may not serve on both.

All information about AUJB can be found on the OSC website at http://www.semo.edu/stuconduct/ or contact the OSC at (573) 651-2264.
