Litchenegger’s term in the Missouri 146th District House of Representatives has expired. The seat is now being sought by Republican Barry Hovis.

“It’s been such a privilege to serve for eight years,” Lichtenegger said.

As for her future, Lichtenegger said it’s unclear.

“I don’t know yet,” she said. “God has a plan.”
