Southeast was recently listed 25 times by SR Education Group’s 2019 national rankings of schools, including the third best online college in Missouri.

Southeast received rankings from the education research group in two categories of Most Affordable and Best Online College. Southeast was ranked the 19th most affordable online college in the nation and the fifth most affordable master’s program. Many specific master’s and bachelor’s degree programs were also recognized.

“We analyzed accredited online schools across the nation, taking into account average mid-career salary data from PayScale, and manually researched annual tuition rates, in order to determine the schools that offer the best value to their students,” SR Education representative Kelsey D’Ewart said. “Inclusion on this list shows high return on investment and commitment to affordability, two key factors for prospective students.”

The rankings of Best Online College consist of 100 programs from 41 states, and the most affordable consist of 120 schools. In all, 840 schools were ranked.

“We manually research the tuition rates of every accredited college offering fully online degrees in order to determine and rank the most affordable options,” D’Ewart said.

The company uses research from tuition rate, accreditation and salary data to rank colleges each year.

In 2018, SR Education ranked Southeast online bachelor’s program eighth and online master’s program 16th among other top online colleges.
