Diana Rogers-Adkinson, dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Studies, has announced Friday, March 22 that she would be retiring May 31, and accepting a new position at another university.

She will be accepting a new job as provost and senior vice president at the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania on June 10, she announced in an email to her faculty and staff, she said.

“I oversee all of the academic affairs, and that is supervising all of the colleges,” she said.

Rogers-Adkinson also said the time spent working with her colleagues at Southeast has been great.

“I am really proud of everything my colleges have accomplished while I have been here,” she said.

It was a difficult choice to make, she said, but it was the opportunity and timing that played a role in her decision to leave.
