Diana Rogers-Adkinson, dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Studies, has announced Friday, March 22 that she would be retiring May 31, and accepting a new position at another university.

She will be accepting a new job as provost and senior vice president at the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania on June 10, she announced in an email to her faculty and staff, she said.

I oversee all of the academic affairs, and that is supervising all of the colleges, she said.

Rogers-Adkinson also said the time spent working with her colleagues at Southeast has been great.

I am really proud of everything my colleges have accomplished while I have been here, she said.

It was a difficult choice to make, she said, but it was the opportunity and timing that played a role in her decision to leave.
