All employees — executive-level excluded — are asked not to report to work on campus March 27 through April 19.

Regional campuses will close March 24 at 5 p.m. and will remain closed until April 19.

These changes were announced through a SE Alert on March 20 by Southeast president Carlos Vargas.

The alert said employees should work remotely, personnel without executive-level approval are not supposed to access University facilities, and graduate assistants and students employees are to work remotely as well, if requested.

Graduate assistants will be paid per amount agreed upon through their contact and student employees will be paid based on the regular schedule hours they would have worked during this time period.

Vargas said he knows there are many questions, and asks students, faculty and staff to monitor their emails for more information.

“We will do all we can to continue to provide information to help guide you,” Vargas said. “I want to again thank everyone for forging ahead during these very challenging times.”

Beginning March 24, Kent Library and the computer lab will close until April 19. The Campus Health Clinic, Student Recreation Center, Student Aquatic Center and Southeast Bookstore will remain closed until further notice.
