In a Sept. 15 message to SEMO students, University President Carlos Vargas announced the campus mask mandate will be extended to Oct. 15. According to the email from Vargas, “I am extending the mask requirement in all University buildings, regardless of vaccination status, for one more month.”

Vargas stated he will get back with students on Oct. 15 or before to let them know updates with the mandate going forward.

He stated that unvaccinated students should consider getting vaccinated and also suggested getting involved with the Redhawk Vaccine Incentive Program.
