SEMO baseball picked to win OVC; Wilber named Player of the Year

Shortstop Tyler Wilber earned the Preseason OVC Player of the Year. Wilber’s batting average is .378, 49 RBI, 109 total bases a .542 slugging percentage and 76 hits. He ended the 2021 regular-season with a OVC-best .400 batting average.

Left fielder Jevon Mason was named to the 2022 Preseason All-Conference Team after hitting 350 with 14 doubles and a team-high .477 on-base percentage. He landed a spot on the league’s All-Tournament Team in his first year with the Redhawks last season.
