Fanduel Sportsbook has the Rams listed as four-point favorites over the Bengals as the 5:30 kickoff on Feb. 13 approaches.

Debates have been ongoing for the last two weeks on who will win Super Bowl 56, but one debate has been happening in Cape Girardeau.

The members of the Southeast Arrow staff have officially made their predictions for the big game and the reasons for the staff members' picks range from on field performance to simply what color their uniforms are.

Brand and Project Manager Kailyn Veach is picking the Bengals and cites her disdain for Rams owner Stan Kroenke as one of the reasons.

“Bengals because the Rams are garbage and I hate them,” Veach stated.

News and Culture editor Jasmine Jones is picking the Rams for an interesting reason heading into Super Bowl 56.

“The Rams because they can climb mountains and stuff,” Jones stated.

Photographer Kaylie Davis, Web Editor Sydney Heriford, and Features Editor Nicolette Baker are all rolling with Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

Editor Nathan Gladden has opinions on the outcome of the game, but ultimately is most excited for the halftime show.

“Cats are usually faster, but Rams have the strength,” Gladden stated. “If the Bengals get under the Rams they’ll easily take them out but if the Rams get the head start they could easily trample some cats. So, I’m going to go with Dr. Dre and Eminem being very good at halftime.”

Content Advisor Mia Pohlman is basing her prediction off the uniforms of the two teams.

“Bengals because they have the best uniforms in the NFL,” Pohlman stated. “The Rams’ pants are too bright for the shade of blue on their jerseys.”

Photo Editor Alyssa Lunsford and Audio Producer Amari Bell are both picking the Rams to win Super Bowl 56.

Senior staff writer Jowairia Khalid is picking the rams because of their better record overall.

“The Rams are standing 12-5 and the Bengals are 10-7 giving a slight advantage to the Rams,” Khalid stated. “However, the Rams defense ranks 21st and the Bengals are 17th. I’m going to go with the Rams since they have the better overall [record].”

Regardless of who you think will come out on top Sunday evening, Super Bowl 56 is sure to be a competitive matchup. Let us know your predictions on any of our social media!
