Carpe Diem is being hosted at 6 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the Student Rec Center by Campus Life with Event Services and International Education & Services.
The event is a celebration of international cultures and will feature a large setup full of booths representing different countries and student organizations. Booths will have cultural decorations, clothing and food samples. The event will also feature a main stage where music from around the world will be performed.
This weekend will be the second time the event has been hosted since COVID-19. International Student Counselor Hannah Weathers said a lot of effort has been put into making the event a success.
“All the students put a lot of work into this. Buying and preparing food if they have it, buying and setting up decorations and preparing all the dances they do. It’s a lot of work to put on an event of this size,” Weathers said.
