Kaylee Anderson gets into swing of softball season (11/9/20)In the 2019 softball season, then-sophomore Kaylee Anderson expanded her role in hitting, making 32 starts as designated hitter. Anderson posted a .246 batting average, tallying a home run, triple and eight doubles while scoring 21 runs and posting 19 RBIs. Anderson also had a bigger pitching role in 2019, going 5-4 with 32 strikeouts and three saves in 27 appearances in the circle.

The Redhawks finished with seven home runs in the two-game split. Anderson hits perfect, homers twice in doubleheader sweep over Eastern Kentucky (4/2/19)The Redhawks bats were red hot for their doubleheader on April 1 against Eastern Kentucky as Southeast swept the Colonels, winning the first game 4-1 and the second one 9-7 at the Southeast Softball Complex. Softball looks to build off breakout season (2/9/19)Southeast’s 2018 softball season raised hope and expectations for the program as the team finished with its most wins in 20 years. In 2018, the Redhawks broke SEMO single-season records in stolen bases (70), saves (7), strikeouts (85) and walks (166). The campaign was second in program history in stolen base attempts (87), fewest strikeouts by Southeast players (60), fewest errors (43) and fielding percentage (.970).
