Southeast women's basketball fall short to UMKC 69-65
The Southeast Missouri State University women's basketball team fell short to University of Missouri-Kansas City in the last two minutes 69-65 in Kansas City, Mo. The loss puts their record at 1-1.
The Redhawk's had a 59-58 lead with under two minutes in play, but UMKC's Kim Nezianya score five points for the Kangaroos to put them on top in final regulation.
Allyson Bradshaw had a career-high night with 18 points while Brittany Harriel added 12. Bailie Roberts also contributed with 11 points for the Redhawks.
Southeast's next game will be against the University of Kansas at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Lawrence, Kan.
