Redhawks softball lost the Frost Classic series after succumbing to University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) in the first game by a score of 1-5. The second game in the series was canceled.

According to semoredhawks.com, SEMO scored one point after a walk by junior infielder Kynzie Wringley allowed junior outfielder Paige Halliwill to score.

UNLV followed this with five runs of their own, only beginning to score in the fifth inning.

Due to the cancellation of game two, the Redhawk softball team will return to the field at 9:00 a.m. Feb. 25 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
