Carrie Shephard leaves Southeast a champion (3/26/20)Redshirt-senior guard Carrie Shephard was a vital piece in the historic 2019-20 campaign of Southeast women’s basketball. Shephard averaged 16.6 PPG on 41.6% shooting from the field. Shephard led the team in 3-point percentage, shooting 40.2% from behind the arc. Shephard also had 46 steals on the season to lead the Redhawks.

OVC and Southeast suspend athletics indefinitely (3/13/20)The Ohio Valley Conference followed the NCAA’s decision, with the Board of Presidents suspending all athletic activities including competition and formal practices. They also suspended all recruiting-related travel until April 3. The ban will be reevaluated at that point.
