A Chevrolet Trailblazer struck the side of a River Campus shuttle around 1:45 p.m. today, according to Doug Richards, the director of the Department of Public Safety. "The gold [vehicle] was stopped on Ellis Street and Independence Street intersection," Richards said. "The university bus was eastbound on Independence approaching the intersection when the driver of the gold [vehicle] started to continue south. He failed to yield after stopping [and] was issued a citation."...

A gold Chevrolet Trailblazer struck the side of a River Campus shuttle around 1:45 p.m. today, according to Doug Richards, the director of the Department of Public Safety.

"The gold [vehicle] was stopped on Ellis Street and Independence Street intersection," Richards said. An accident occurred in the intersection of Ellis Street and Independence Street involving a Southeast shuttle and a gold Chevrolet Trailblazer.

Richard added that there were five students riding the shuttle to the River Campus, and that no injuries occurred. Both the shuttle and the gold vehicle are still driveable.
