Welcomeeeeeee to a new year, pals!

The December announcement of Pantone’s Color of the Year is like a holiday for fashion nerds. Every year, the color company chooses a hue that captures the vibe of the new year.

Last year, the colors of the year were a sunny yellow and medium gray, a combo I had very ~mixed~ feelings about.

Pantone’s 2022 pick is “Very Peri” — a fun periwinkle color Pantone says embodies “a carefree confidence and a daring curiosity.” If you’re looking for a way to add some color to your wardrobe, look no further! I’ve searched far and wide (on the Internet, at least) for the best clothes and beauty products.

When relaxing on chilly January days, reach for this periwinkle Champion sweatshirt. It’s a pretty close match to the Pantone color and perfectttttt to style with jeans or leggings.

For all the girl bosses out there, a purple-y suit *totally* elevates your wardrobe. Try for these muted slacks from Ann Taylor. They’re the perfect way to incorporate the Color of the Year into your profesh wardrobe.

If you’re a neutrals-only sorta person, nail polish is a great way to dip your toes into the Very Peri pool. Essie’s “Wink of Sleep” is spot-on. For those with more sensitive skin, Olive & June’s “Bold & Unshaken” is free of seven irritating chemicals anddddd vegan!

In my opinion, colorful makeup is always *chef’s kiss.* Try Colorpop’s “Purple Prose” mascara to totes elevate your look. It’s less than $10 — say whaaaaaaaaaaat?!

Got any more Very Peri finds? You already know my DMs are always open, pals!

I’ve def missed you over the past few weeks, but we’re back to discussing digital fashion everyyyyyy week — check out my review of outfits in “Emily in Paris” next Friday! Things, uh, get a little cray cray.
