Making a difference in the community can be done in many ways, and one charity event is seeking help from SEMO’s very own students.

The Child and Family Studies Association at SEMO has teamed up with Hope House Mission to place boxes around campus, starting March 30 through April 4, to collect necessary items for children of all ages in the area.

Some of the items needed are pajamas, coloring books, crayons, socks and underwear. Because this charity serves children of all ages, items like feminine products and disposable razors are also welcomed.

Donation boxes will be placed at the Textbook Rental location, University School for Young Children and Scully room 110.

For more information about donating for the Hope House Mission, contact The Child and Family Studies Association.
