River City Centre, LLC announced its plans to redevelop the West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau on April 11, with a plan to renovate the property and return it as a draw to the people of the Southeast area.

According to KFVS12, West Park Mall general manager Christy Easley said the mall has an advantage in where it is located.

“As the only regional shopping center in more than an hour drive in every direction, West Park Mall is strategically placed, offering an unmatched advantage,” Easley said.

River City Centre, LLC acquired the property in the summer of 2021.
